Road Trip Pillows

It has been a rough week. We have all been sick and have had to cancel everything we had planned. Work, meetings and fun activities included. My daughter Elina loves crafting (or pyssel as we call it in Swedish) and if she doesn't have the energy to do it, I know she is REALLY un-well. These past few days she has been feeling a bit better and in between watching Frozen over and over she has been helping me with these pillows.

I wanted to make pillows with the kids' names on them for road trips or flights. I have seen really nice but way to expensive ones and figured I would just try to make some of my own.

I printed out the letters on the computer, traced them on fabric and sewed them on.

I think Elina's might be my favorite one. I think the color combination really works. The other ones turned out nice too and the kids love them.

They got to choose the color and fabric for the letters. Elina chose pink (no surprise) and Miles chose turquoise. Casper is only 2 so I chose for him!

Now we just need to get healthy so we can try them out on our next road trip! We are going down to Lund to visit some friends for Easter and it's a 9 hour drive so they'll have plenty of time to try them then.
