After a long winter, March is a welcome change. Here in Falun we have had the World Ski Championships and it was a lot of fun. The winter has been a mix of rain and snow, not at all typical for this part of the world. We have only been able to ski and skate a few times. Still, spring is always welcome, and today we had sunshine!
Pinterest is my main source of inspiration and I have seen boot cuffs in all sorts of shapes and colors. I decided to make my own version.
This is how I made them:
Row 1:Ch 40 (or however many you need to go around your leg)
Row 2: Sc in each ch (40)
Row 3: Dc in each of the sc (40)
Row 4: Sc in the next 9 stitches then 2 sc in the next, repeat 4 times (44)
Row 5: Dc in each of the sc (44)
Row 6: Sc in each dc (increase again like you did on row 4 if you need to, it needs to fit your leg)
Repeat rows 5 and 6 until you have the desired length
Final row: Make sure you have a multiple of 5, Skip one st, 5 dc in the next, skip 1 stitch, sl st in the next. Do this until the end of the row.
I made these for my 6 year old daughter Elina and she loves them.

Perfect for keeping your legs warm while you climb the fence and get your boots muddy!
