I made this blanket while I was pregnant with our little son Casper.
It was so easy to make and it turned out so nice. He was born in March so I spent a lot of time in front of the fire during those late months and I could use the finished part of the blanket to keep my legs warm while I was working on it. Now when we are living through the darkness of winter, it is -16 outside and we sit inside by the fire...
...I remember that sweet newborn baby smell...
... and that wonderful warm spring that followed....
... this blanket reminds me of all of that!
